Service Fees 

Hill Country Vintage Vault charges service fees to the renter for each rental booked through Hill Country Vintage Vault.com. The fees for each are listed below.

Commercial Insurance Service Fee 

10% service fee will be charged to the vehicle renter for each rental booked. 

​

Excess Mileage Fee 

Renters will be charged for all excess mileage per rental. The mileage for the rental period is 85 miles from leaving the warehouse to returning to the warehouse. Mileage fees will be charged at $3.00 per mile for any miles driven over 85 miles 

​

Excess Time Fee 

Each rental is for two hours from the time we arrive at your location until the time we deliver you to the drop-off location. There is a 15-minute grace period. If the drive exceeds 2:15 hours the renter will be charged the hourly rate of that vehicle.

Cleaning Fee 

We understand that cars get dirty out on the road. If the car is returned and is deemed to require additional cleaning due to smoke, pets, excessive trash, vomit, neglect, etc., a cleaning fee of up to $350 may be imposed.

*Hill Country Vintage Vault reserves the right to charge an administrative or inconvenience fee, plus any costs incurred by Hill Country Vintage Vault, for categories not explicitly noted above. 

 

Hill Country Vintage Vault Cancelation Policy ​

Renters may cancel their trip through our site and the cancellation is effective immediately. Rentals may be cancelled with at least 96 hours notification at no charge. If a cancellation is made with less than 96 hours notification, the canceling user will be charged the full fee of the Rental.

Hill Country Vintage Vault Deposit Policy 

At the option of Hill Country Vintage Vault and based on the rental date, we may allow for a 50% deposit upon booking with the balance due no later than 7 days before the rental date.

Hill Country Vintage Vault Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed in cars without Hill Country Vintage Vault explicit consent. If our driver reports that a renter has transported a pet without their authorization, the renter will be subject to additional fees.

Hill Country Vintage Vault Smoking Policy 

Renters or their passengers are not permitted to smoke in any vehicle. If our drivers or management report the smell of smoke within 24 hours after a reservation has ended, that renter will be assessed a cleaning fee of up to $350. If there is a smoke smell at the beginning of the reservation, please report it via e-mail to Hill Country Vintage Vault@gmail.com or at the very beginning of your reservation so that you are not held responsible for the violation.

Hill Country Vintage Vault Maintenance Policy 

Operability:Hill Country Vintage Vault is responsible for maintaining the Car in a way that is safely operable.Hill Country Vintage Vault offers a garage full of antique/vintage cars. All efforts will be made to ensure that the cars are safe and road worthy. However, these are old cars and things happen. In the event that the car is inoperable or deemed not to be safe, Hill Country Vintage Vault reserves the right to substitute cars or provide a full refund to the renter. In the event, the car is inoperable while on the road after the start of the rental period, Hill Country Vintage Vault will prorate a refund based on the total rental time.

Cleanliness: Hill Country Vintage Vault is responsible for making sure that the Car is clean at the start of each Rental period.

Hill Country Vintage Vault Wear and Tear Policy 

Light “wear and tear” that is part of the normal operation of a classic and/or antique vehicle is an inherent part of renting out a car; Hill Country Vintage Vault is not “protected” against light wear and tear, nor is the renter “responsible” for wear and tear resulting from normal usage of the car. Wear and tear may include engine wear, brake and suspension wear, minor scuffing of the interior surfaces, as well as minor (less than 1 inch in length) nicks, scratches, abrasions or dents to the exterior (including wheels) normally associated with street parking, shopping cart bumps, and the like.

Welcome to Hill Country Vintage Vault LLC, a specialty car rental company Hill Country Vintage Vault, LLC. (" Hill Country Vintage Vault" "we" or "us"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and your participation with us. The terms are legally binding on you, so it’s important that you read and understand them.

Below are the general terms that apply to all users of the Hill Country Vintage Vault services to renters. All of the terms stated in these Terms of Service, together with Hill Country Vintage Vault’ Privacy Policy and the Hill Country Vintage Vault’ User Policies provided on theHill Country Vintage Vault site, constitute the “Agreement” between you and Hill Country Vintage Vault. Hill Country Vintage Vault may change the terms of the Agreement from time to time. All changes are effective immediately when we post them, and apply to all access and use of the Services thereafter. 

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before you access any Services. By clicking to accept or agree to these Terms of Service when this option is made available to you, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy and User Policies, which are incorporated here by reference, and to the collection and use of your information as set forth in the Hill Country Vintage Vault Privacy Policy.

PROPRIETARY RIGHTS: 

You acknowledge and agree that the Website and all materials on it, including without limitation, the Website’s content, software, technology and databases, contain proprietary information and data that is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret and other intellectual property laws (Hill Country Vintage Vault "Proprietary Information"). and other code contained in the Website, and other vehicle information, any text, graphics, logos, photographs, audio or video material or stills from audiovisual material available on the Website.

GENERAL TERMS: 

The following terms apply to each user of the Hill Country Vintage Vault services. 

Registration and Verification:

When you sign-up for various services offered by Hill Country Vintage Vault, you will provide certain information about yourself. It is a condition of your use of the Services that you provide complete and accurate information toHill Country Vintage Vault . You hereby authorize Hill Country Vintage Vault to request, receive, use and store such information for a reasonable period of time. You agree that all information you provide to register for the Services or otherwise is governed by our Privacy Policy, and you consent to all actions we take with respect to your information consistent with our Privacy Policy. Hill Country Vintage Vault may accept or reject your registration application in its discretion for any reason.

Incorporation of Additional Terms: 

Hill Country Vintage Vault User Policies provide additional terms of your use of the Hill Country Vintage Vault services (e.g., terms describing car use and payment requirements) that are legally binding and are now incorporated into this Agreement. In addition, Hill Country Vintage Vault’ Privacy Policy will apply to all of the activities described in this Agreement and is hereby incorporated into this Agreement. Your Commitments: 

You promise Hill Country Vintage Vault that you have the legal right to enter into this Agreement and to use the services. You promise that your activities with Hill Country Vintage Vault won’t violate anyone else’s rights. You also agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Hill Country Vintage Vault , its affiliates, licensors and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Service or your use of the Services, including, but not limited to, any use of the website's content, services and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms of Service or your use of any information obtained from the website. 

Consent to Electronic Communications:

If you provide your email address to Hill Country Vintage Vault, you consent to receive communications from Hill Country Vintage Vault to that email address. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Protection: 

During the applicable rental period (i.e., the scheduled start time of renter’s reservation through their return of the car),Hill Country Vintage Vault will provide certain comprehensive and collision protection for the car, as well as liability insurance for bodily injury and property damage arising from use of the car. You understand and agree that, for “Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists & No-Fault” (including Medical Payments/First Party Benefits/Personal Injury Protection etc.):Hill Country Vintage Vault  has either waived such coverage entirely or subscribed to the lowest limit allowable by state law and that you are bound by the election and agree to be so bound. The liability insurance and the comprehensive and collision protection shall be excess and contingent over any other valid and collectible insurance that may be available to the renter. Insurance amounts and other details may be found in the Hill Country Vintage VaultUser Policies. If you have questions about your own personal insurance policies, you should contact your insurance professional; if after reviewing these Terms of Service and you or your insurance professional still have questions regarding Hill Country Vintage Vault protections, please contact us at hillcountryvintagevault@gmail.com and we will connect you with our broker to explain how our protections operate.

Termination: 

You may discontinue your use of the Hill Country Vintage Vault services at any time and Hill Country Vintage Vault may terminate your access to theHill Country Vintage Vault  Services for any reason or no reason. Termination of Services will not release either party from any obligations incurred prior to the termination and Hill Country Vintage Vault may retain and continue to use for its own internal purposes any information previously provided by you. Hill Country Vintage Vault will not be liable to you or any third party for termination of access or use of this Website or Service. Termination of this Agreement will not have any effect on the disclaimers, waiver or liability limitations provided under this Agreement and all of those terms will survive any termination of this Agreement.

No Agency: 

Hill Country Vintage Vault does not intend to appoint you or any other user as its employee, legal agent or to form any kind of legal partnership or joint venture. You are not authorized to make any commitments on behalf of Hill Country Vintage Vault and Hill Country Vintage Vault will not make commitments on your behalf.

No License: 

Hill Country Vintage Vault.com and its entire contents, features and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by Hill Country Vintage Vault , its licensors or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. Except as part of the intended use of the Hill Country Vintage Vault services, you must not copy, distribute, make available, publicly perform, display or create any work based on such content, or exploit such content in any way, in whole or in part. All rights are expressly reserved.

TERMS FOR RENTERS 

The following Sections apply if you rent a car using the Hill Country Vintage Vault services: Information provided to Hill Country Vintage Vault: As part of establishing and maintaining your status as an authorized renter through the Hill Country Vintage Vault marketplace, you will need to provide certain information about yourself. You understand and agree that you must meet the eligibility requirements at all times that you use a car through the services; if, after initial approval, you later fail to meet the eligibility requirements, you are required to inform us of the change in status, and refrain from renting cars via Hill Country Vintage Vault. As stated above, you have authorized Hill Country Vintage Vault to obtain applicable reports at any time, in order to verify that you meet the eligibility requirements of the services. Hill Country Vintage Vault may, subject to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, retain and continue to use for its own internal purposes any information previously provided by you. All of your information will be held and treated in accordance with the Privacy Policy. To note, any failure to material information is grounds for immediate rejection or termination of your membership, effective as of such failure.

Fees and Losses: 

You are responsible for paying all fees when they come due in connection with your use of the Services. You authorize Hill Country Vintage Vault to charge any payment cards on file in your account for all amounts due, including but not limited to, security deposits, processing fees, usage fees, fines/penalties, deductibles and damages, and you furthermore represent and warrant that you have the right to make this authorization. You will be responsible for payment of usage fees from the start of your rental period until the time you return the car.). With regard to damage, losses, or other liabilities, you acknowledge that any personal insurance you have available to you (e.g., personal auto insurance, insurance from credit cards, etc.) will be the primary source of funds for your liabilities hereunder and the protection offered by Hill Country Vintage Vault will not be available to you until your personal insurance has been exhausted. Additionally, Hill Country Vintage Vault protection may not be available to you in the event you breach your obligations under this Agreement. Subject to the coverage and protection available to you, you acknowledge that you are fully responsible for any damage, losses or other liabilities relating to your rental activities through the Hill Country Vintage Vault marketplace. You agree that in the event damage is reported,Hill Country Vintage Vault  may immediately charge you up to the amount stipulated with the protection package that you selected when you booked the car. Nothing in this Agreement is intended to limit your responsibilities or Hill Country Vintage Vault legal rights in connection with your use of the services (or any vehicles rented through the services). You acknowledge that Hill Country Vintage Vault may require and hold a deposit as part of the reservation of a car.
